The Twisted Wish
Chaos is watching the sleeping Sakura who is in the process of remembering a very relevant memory of hers. In her dream, she's running and running and screaming for help. Luckily a dark stranger sweeps in out of nowhere and destroys the huge desert worm that had been chasing her. The man pulls back his cloak to reveal his identity, Chaos!
Chaos offers to walk Sakura back to her palace to make sure she gets back safely. Sakura thanks him enormously but Chaos says that he was heading there anyway for a meeting with Sakura's father (Clow Reed) to strengthen bonds between their two countries. He asks Sakura if she had ever travelled to another country. She angrily says that her father and brother get to but she doesn't.
Chaos assures her that when she becomes an adult he's sure she'll get the chance to travel and when she does he promises to travel with her to protect her with his life.
Sakura is thrilled at this thought and they both do a pinky promise, promising to keep their word to travel together in the future.
Back in the present, Syaoran, Fay and Kurogane are in the middle of battling a hoard of demons when suddenly a yellow mist surrounds them. When it clears they find each other completely seperated from the other and approached by a mysterious figure from each of their pasts. Seishiro appears in front of Syaoran and challenges him to battle Syaoran for the feather he possesses, Ashura appears in front of Fay and attacks him and Kurogane's father appears in front of him and challenges him to a fight.
They're all shocked initially but they quickly realise that the person before them must be an illusion and waste no time in fighting back.
At the palace, Sakura has awoken and is greeted by Mokona who tells her that she had been asleep for a whole day! Mokona also informs her that Syaoran, Fay and Kurogane are away trying to get her feathers back and that he wished Syaoran good luck for her. She thanks Mokona but then quickly remembers her dream. She had known Chaos in her past in the Country of Clow.
Later that day she meets with Chaos who asks that she come with him to the villiage that surrounds the palace as he wants to show her something. She hesitates at first but then Mokona says that she thinks that she knows him and this would be a good opportunity to see if she's right, so she accepts his offer and rides through the city in a kart much to the joy of the people of the villiage who adore their king.
Elsewhere in the city, Fei Wang Reed's servant, _____ is on location and sending a live video feed back to her master as she searches for the source of the major power they had detected. She says she's getting closer and will continue to look.
At that moment, Sakura, Mokona and Chaos have arrived at their destination, a minature of the Country of Clow Chaos had had built in memory of his trips to that country. Sakura thinks it's wonderful and tells Chaos so. Chaos asks her if she remembers the promise they had made when she was younger. She hesitates but says that she does. Chaos tells her that he wants to take Syaoran and the others' place and travel with Sakura to find her feathers.
Mokona demands to know what would happen to Fay, Kurogane and Syaoran if they were to be replaced. Chaos says that they all have lives to go back to.
Sakura thinks about this for a minute but then happily rejects his offer.
Suddenly, Mokona screams for Sakura to run! Mokona had sensed Chaos' heart change dramatically when Sakura had broken her promise. Sakura tries to leave but Chaos summons and strong pink force field that freezes Sakura's legs and surrounds her and Mokona's bodies. He then causes the destruction of the fake Seishiro, Kurogane's father and Ashura (now a Fay [!]) and sends three guiding lights for Syaoran, Fay and Kurogane to follow back to where Sakura is.
As they arrive, Chaos proclaims that he will beat them to prove to Sakura that he would be a stronger travelling companion. He summons a hoard of demons (the same ones they were battling in the mountains) to keep them all busy while he battles them one by one. Kurogane puts up a good fight but is quickly defeated by a powerful magic sword attack. Fay is also quickly dispatched off and Chaos points out that not using a magic ability is the same as not having one. Chaos thinks to himself how much more powerful he is compared to Kurogane and Fay.
With both Fay and Kurogane knocked out, Chaos gets rid of the remaining demons and challenges Syaoran to battle. Syaoran, with no choice accepts, gives Sakura and Mokona a smile, grasps his sword and attacks...
