Episode #39
The Begining of Separation
Picking right up where we left last episode, Syaoran and Kurogane have decided to take on a whole gang of bikers whom are armed with missile launchers and high tech motorcycles. They run towards their enemy slicing and dicing the vehicles in their way with Kurogane taking out several while Syaoran performs a stunning flip to land himself on top of a bike before leap frogging across several in an attempt to steal one to chase after the truck with the feather.
Unfortunately, after it becomes obvious that the bikers are outmatched, they retreat leaving Syaoran and Kurogane with nothing but flaming ruins and no closer to way to catch up to the feather.
Later that night, Syaoran finds Chitose outside the stopped bus (it's law in this world for all vehicles to stop at night) fiddling with the laser system. Turns out she's actually an employee of the bus company who had decided to take a break and get her life in order. She confides in Syaoran that she had become so caught up in work that her life had passed her by. She had decided to go on this trip as a first step into living again.
Right now she's unscrewing the lasers so that they can be used manually in case the bikers return. Syaoran decides to help her.
The next morning the bus starts up again and they're all on their way and watching the news on one of the monitors inside the bus. Much to the suprise of everyone the latest report is of the famous pop idol, Primera who has apparently cancelled all of her concerts due to an illness. Everyone immediately recognises Primera who had been riding with them all along. Her and Shougo become very tense and it's revealed that they had both started a relationship together and had run away together to avoid the pressure they would have faced back home due to he being her manager.
Before the conversation can be taken any further, the truck with the feather is spotted up ahead, though a train is coming in such a direction as to block their path if they don't move any faster. Due to Syaoran and Kurogane's bravery the night before, everyone wants to help and begin thinking about what they can do. All of a sudden, Chitose stands up, walks swiftly to the control panel and initiates manual override and dramatically increases the bus' speed.
The maximum speed isn't enough however as the train still manages to block their path. Syaoran and Kurogane quickly run outside and perform a slingshot move by slinging Syaoran off a panel of wood up into the air, similar to what he did in Episode 9. Luckly he manages to land right on top of the truck, inches away from the feather.
Unfortunately, the biker gang returns and starts attacking Syaoran to get their revenge. Everyone pairs up with a sighter and a laser set and begin to fire at the bikers and the missiles that they're firing. Sakura, who had paired up with Yuzuriha manage to destroy quite a few missiles, but unluckily miss the final one which is flying towards Syaoran just as he grabbed the feather. The missile hits the truck and sets off a chain reaction where Syaoran gets blown to safety while the truck, along with several of the bikes get blown up.
Later in the bus as Syaoran gives Sakura her feather back, Sakura recalls a time in the land of Clow where Yukito told her that no matter how she feels, she should never give up.
When the bus reaches it's destination, everyone says their good byes and all are happy that they met each other and wish each other the best. Shougo and Primera decide to go back home and be proud of their relationship, Yuzuriha tells Sakura that she had a great time together, Chitose let's Syaoran know that thanks to them she feels that she has started to live again and Qian Qang comments on how all of their meetings were hitsuzen.
My Original Impression
I LOVED this arc! Great pace, characters (the anime beat the manga to using a CLAMP character!) and some new tunes... overall this two episode arc excelled in almost every way! The animation was top notch with not one awkward face to be seen.
Some nice extra depth added to several supporting characters plus an awesome fight scene with Saoran and Kurogane.
Am giving this episode a nice 4.5 stars. Well done Bee Train!

 Primera: The lil' fairy from Magic Knight Rayearth II returns for her second Tsubasa crossover again as Shougo's girlfriend and as a pop idol.
 Shougo: This cool X/1999 Dragon is back for his third crossover and for the second time he is Primera's man. Lucky guy.
 Yuzuriha: The popular X/1999 school girl returns for another appearance and quickly becomes friends with Sakura once more.
 Qian Qang: Another Magic Knight Rayearth II character returns in this arc in the form of the mysterious Qian Qang.
 Chitose: Chobits's and Kobato's Chitose also returns and shows us her usual knack for technology and compassion.
 Yukito: Card Captor Sakura's Yukito drops in via Sakura's flashback to the land of Clow.
