New Gaia Online Tsubasa Items!
 To celebrate the release of the fourth Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle DVD (now due for release on the 4th of October!) Gaia Online has a new event where you can win either Kurogane's sword or Faye's staff!!! Pretty cool! Again it's only open for US and Canadian residents but those of us in different countries can buy them in the market place for rather cheap prices! Check out the event HERE. Link xxxHolic Site Offline
 Just a quick note to let you know that my xxxHolic site, Link is currently offline but don't worry! Have just purchased a new domain for it, www.xxxHolicAnime.net and will be transferring the entire site there in a little bit.While on the topic of xxxHolic, it has been renewed for a second anime season so those wondering if we'll see some Yuko crossover goodness from her point of view during the events in Tokyo Revelations can relax as we may get something in this second season. To make it even cooler, both Tokyo Revelations and xxxHolic Season 2 are being made by the same animation studio, Production I.G. the same company who did the movies and first xxxHolic season so the odds of a real crossover are even better. Rant, Rants and More Rants!
Having just seen Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and LOVING it I decided to search the web and find some other movie reviews of it and came across CriticsRant.com. Yeah, there was an alright review of the movie but the problem is, all the comments are full of.... well, RANTS! Just by the very nature of the site, most of the movie discussions have a very ranting (i.e. negative) vibe to them that wears thing after a while. The tv shows discussions are the same and it's something I'm kind of sick of really.
We get enough ranting on the web as it is (especially in the fandom) and thankfully 100% of posters on TsubasaAnime.net rock but I've seen other sites (particularily Harry Potter ones) who have self destructed due to the members forgetting what it is they like about the fandom as well.
As the Tsubasa anime continues to be dubbed I'm glad to see the fandom as a whole keeping a level head (maybe partially because of the good job they're doing). Let's not become like those Anti-Sailor Moon Dub Nazis!
CriticsRant.com is a pretty good site... but I guess I'm just a kind of "glass half full" person. ;)

New Tsubasa Item at Gaia Online!
| Gaia Online has started a new Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle event here but unfortunately it's only viewable by people in the US or Canada so I can't report much about as I'm in Japan. Tsubasa Chronicle Tokyo Revelations News
 The official Tsubasa Chronicle: Tokyo Revelations website has uploaded with an amazing new picture featuring the two Syaorans and Sakura (notice the blood!) and some very cool news that Yui Makino who voices Sakura will be singing the opening theme song (she also sang several songs for the anime and the closing theme song for the movie) and Maya Sakamoto will be singing the closing theme!This is great news as 1) we now know we'll be getting new music with the OAV and 2) There'll be a sense of continuity with the first two seasons of the anime! In other news, ChibiYuuto has found several cool pics from the upcoming CLAMP in Wonderland 2 well worth a look! Like this site? Tsubasa in Gaia Online!

English Tsubasa Official Site Launch
The official site has just launched! Before there was just a static picture and some misc information but now we have a full fledged site with some great features worth check out!There's a great English trailer in the "Story" section (possibly voiced by Yuko?) and accurate character info on all the main characters including the English voice actors for each one.
The "DVD Releases" page is worth a look as it reveals that there will be 6 DVDs for the first season and that the first DVD will have five episodes! This is great as the first Japanese DVD only had the first two episodes (what a rip-off, huh?).
Something else worth mentioning is the fact that we now have an official English Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle discussion forum on the site which is pretty cool.
(I LOVE the feather loading animation on the site!)
This site is a great effort by Funimation. Am looking forward to the xxxHolic and movies sites.

An Oldie but a Goodie
Just found an old article at the ANN from October that listed Tsubasa Chronicle as the 53rd favourite anime series in Japan (of all time). Not amazing but not terrible when looking at the series it beat, Macross, Heidi (really popular), Full Metal Panic! (which was at 84) and Fruits Basket.

Firefox 2 Launched
This isn't exactly Tsubasa related but I want to get as many people to do this as I can... DOWNLOAD FIREFOX. Version 2 is now out and it rocks. It loads pages 400% faster than Internet Explorer does, is easier to use and a lot safer. It also makes webpages feel better when you're browsing them.
