A new voice actor has signed on to the English Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle anime due for release in May this year.
Colleen CLINKENBEARD who has had roles in Dragonball Z and Full Metal Alchemist is on board. No idea who she'll be playing though.

xxxHolic & Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle End plus CLAMP in Wonderland 2 News
Chibiyuuto has posted a report from the New Years party CLAMP threw with some info on CLAMP in Wonderland as well as how xxxHolic and Tsubasa may end.
As they said yesterday, Ashura-ou will wake up.
Then. They already talked about it previously, but they said "Tsubasa will end with a happy ending."
Then they added "Except for one certain person, it will be a happy end".
Who could that be?...Ass chin... ahem... Fei Wang, probably? It's not limited to the main characters only... right? (sweat)
But, first of all is a happy ending. How many people are relieved. Wait a bit.
Ohkawa-san said "CLAMP never drew works without a happy ending", so this means that in any way you look at it, it's a happy ending!! I mean. The happy endings she's talking about, they're not always what the readers expected/hoped to happen. No, maybe not.
Aaah. I'm full of anxiety... Give to XXXHOLiC a happy ending too.
Ah yeah! From the many conversations they did, I got that XXXHOLiC will end after Tsubasa's ending.
[About that, what was said at the event is that Tsubasa's and XXXHOLiC's end will develop together. And that when we reach Tsubasa's end, XXXHOLiC's mystery will be solved. In that sense, we would need to see Tsubasa's end firstly in order to understand XXXHOLiC's. Either way, both series will end close to each other, but that doesn't mean they'll end at the same WEEK. So we might have some chapters left after either one of them is over.
Also, it was also said that even though so far XXXHOLiC and TRC were drawn in a way that you could read one perfectly well without having to read the other too, from now on this will become more strict/severe, meaning that reading both works will help you understand better their ends.]

Maya Sakamoto Joins the Tardis
I've known for a while now that the amazing new Doctor Who series (one of the best written and acted shows on tv
period! I can't recommend it enough!) is being released here in Japan but what I didn't know is that Maya Sakamoto (singer of Loop and Kazemachi Jet and voice of Tomoyo) will be the Japanese dub voice of Rose (played by the superb Billie Piper).
Pretty cool connection, no?
I've already ordered my versions of the first two seasons on DVD and I seriously suggest that you grab a copy too. This show is just so well done. I can't wait for the third season to start next month.

Tsubasa Chronicle ENGLISH DVD Release Date!

Official English Site has updated with the release date of the first English (which will probably have the Japanese audio as well with subtitles) DVD!
Many fans know that FUNimation has acquired Tsubasa, but no street dates have been announced. Well today is the day. Just found an old article at the
ANN from October that listed Tsubasa Chronicle as the 53rd favourite anime series in Japan (of all time). Not amazing but not terrible when looking at the series it beat, Macross, Heidi (really popular), Full Metal Panic! (which was at 84) and Fruits Basket.

Also a release that I had forgotten to mention is
the English version of the Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle Character Guide which has been out for a few months now.
Personally, I always preorder my manga from Amazon as I can save about US$1.86 on each order, sometimes up to US$5. They also have a habit of sending them to you a few days (one time a whole week!) before it's official release date.
I also cleaned up the links on the right hand side, and added a section for the amazingly large number of affiliate sites that no longer exist! If you're an owner of one of the "Dead Affiliates" and you've simply changed address, please let me know so I can add you to the "Active" list again.
