Wow, not only did this episode give us an almost complete background story for Kurogane, but it also hinted at a connection to a major player in the Tsubasa world and with some of the best animation yet for this series! The animation was stunning throughout but some scenes just
really effected me. Kurogane's facial shift into madness being one such example of creative and emotional storytelling.
This episode could have easily stood on it's own, but the last two minutes drop a twist on the viewer that not only enforces the emotional impact of Kurogane's story, but also gives another character a chance to express himself in a way we havn't seen before and even makes the viewer rethink what he had just seen.
Very original and completely effective on every level.
5 stars all the way!
p.s. The episode guides are coming! Promise!

I
LOVED this arc! Great pace, characters (the anime beat the manga to using a CLAMP character!) and some new tunes... overall this two episode arc excelled in almost every way! The animation was top notch with not one awkward face to be seen.
Some nice extra depth added to several supporting characters plus an awesome fight scene with Saoran and Kurogane.
Am giving this episode a nice 4.5 stars. Well done Bee Train!
Coming up later this week will be several episode guides for season two of Tsubasa Chronicle. I'm now up to date with my
xxxHolic Guides so will get back into my Tsuabsa ones asap.

This episode got a great laugh in my appartment! Bee Train really did a great job with the "chibi" animations! Hillarious! The script was also spot on and had some laugh out loud moments especially when Syaoran and Sakura almost kissed... again... and again...
Mokona also got to play with everyone as well, though is it just me or does Mokona only "sense" the feather
after he sees it?

Wow, I was very happy to see this episode. It just felt so much like the manga! There was a lot of Yuko this time around and we got to see her from her perspective for the first time since
Episode 2 (I think). Well drawn and loved her house in the background.
The overall arc was finished up nicely, though I kind of lost interest in the first world after the epic battles on the sky palace.
Four episodes for this one arc! Way to go Bee Train! Perfect pacing!
Next week is another original episode (YEAH!!!) featuring Princess Emerald from Magic Knight Rayearth!
