Wednesday, October 24, 2007 Japan Against Illegal Manga and Anime Downloads  AnimeNewsNetwork has just posted an article on how the Japanese government has asked the US government to crack down on illegal anime and manga downloads. Surprisingly almost everyone in the forums over there agrees with the decision! Personally I'm against fansubbing of anime and manga especially series like Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle and xxxHolic which are currently being released officially stateside as well as in Australia and other countries in English. This is why I no longer link to torrents or sites that offer Tsubasa and xxxHolic manga and anime for download. Services like those affect the sales of the series here as well as back in Japan. I like listening to the Japanese voices and expressions, and still being able to understand it without having studied the language. Perhaps the English releases come with this included, I do not know. But, that is my opinion. # posted by  Prem : 9:58 PM   i feel that the subbed is so much better if i like the anime i will buy it when it's released anyways .. but i also think that i am sick of the goverment trying to control something that well will never fully be under control .. there was a musik band that put there cd for sale & it was any price you wanted to pay & you know what happened because they did that everyone paid the full price .. so it goes to tell you how the internet works .. also i feel if its been on tv isnt it the same as using the dvr or vcr or what ever to record it ... because here is a little tip if you take a memery stick & put it in your dvr you can take & plug into your computer & make a torrent of it anyways .. well got to go .. tschuss # posted by  Anonymous : 5:16 AM   Actually pretty much every DVD release of anime comes with the original Japanese audio and English subtitles.
