Sunday, January 28, 2007 Maya Sakamoto Joins the Tardis  I've known for a while now that the amazing new Doctor Who series (one of the best written and acted shows on tv period! I can't recommend it enough!) is being released here in Japan but what I didn't know is that Maya Sakamoto (singer of Loop and Kazemachi Jet and voice of Tomoyo) will be the Japanese dub voice of Rose (played by the superb Billie Piper). Pretty cool connection, no? I've already ordered my versions of the first two seasons on DVD and I seriously suggest that you grab a copy too. This show is just so well done. I can't wait for the third season to start next month. You can get the first season box set here and the second season box set here. Brilliant!
